Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare silicate from California!!! This specimen is loaded with small, green crystals of zussmanite liberally distributed throughout the matrix!!! The crystals consist of deep green, platy crystals with glassy luster and gemmy clarity up to 3mm in size!!! It was difficult to really capture this specimen in the pictures - it is way better in person!!! This specimen retains an old Cilen Collection label and an old Leicht Collection label!!!
