Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely incredible example of this rare species from the type locality!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of platy brown crystals of yoshimuraite in a matrix of quartz and pink rhodonite with some minor "urbanite" aegirine crystals in association as well!!! The yoshimuraite crystals are present as slightly iridescent, root beer brown, platy crystals in groups to over 2.7cm long!!! This is an extraordinary example of this rare species indeed!!! In fact, this specimen had been sitting in a group of specimens set aside for use in a book on Japanese Minerals but the project got put on hold I was able to snatch this specimen up!!! In any case, if you are familiar with this species than you know just how good this specimen is!!! And the pictures don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Incredible specimen!!!
