Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of wurtzite with galena from Connecticut!!! This specimen hosts a large single crystal of galena along with several smaller crystals in association with numerous wurtzite crystals!!! There is a small amount of purple to green fluorite present and a few tiny pyrite crystals as well!!! The wurtzite crystals are so abundant that they actually comprise a portion of the matrix in massive form!!! There are many sharp, lustrous wurtzite crystals present!!!
