Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of wurtzite from this classic Connecticut locale!!! This specimen hosts numerous sharp, lustrous crystals of darkly colored wurtzite on a matrix of sharp quartz points!!! One can see numerous, lustrous prism faces scattered across the specimen and, upon close examination, one can also see that there are some sharply terminated crystals as well!!! The crystals range in size up to 4mm and are much more significant that the pics show!!! Simply a terrific example of this rare species from Connecticut!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
