Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of wulfenite from this classic historic locality!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of complex calcite crystals that serves as a matrix for a bright, colorful display of dipyramidal wulfenite crystals!!! The calcite crystals have marked clarity and a complex, almost rounded dodecahedral habit!!! The wulfenite crystals are sharp, lustrous, and intensely colorful!!! The wulfenite crystals exhibit a pronounced dipyramidal habit, however there is a significant degree of variability and complexity among them as is typical of this classic locality!!! Some of the smaller, lighter colored crystals exhibit a more classic form that is much more truncated as well!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition and is quite showy in person!!!
