Wulfenite Gonzalito mine, Complejo Gonzalito district, Sierra Grande, Río Negro, Argentina 5.84cm x 3.52cm x 3.17cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely gorgeous example of wulfenite from this seldom referenced locality!!! This specimen hosts numerous sharp, bright red bipyramidal crystals of wulfenite in association with microcrystalline pyromorphite (there are also a few pseudomorphs present as well)!!! The crystals are razor-sharp, lustrous, and have intense red color similar to the best classic Red Cloud Mine specimens!!! This specimen hosts crystals up to just over 5mm, which is absolutely exceptional for the locality!!! These specimens were recovered in a very limited quantity decades ago and are very rarely encountered on the market in such exceptional quality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
