Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of mimetite on wulfenite from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of some exceptional mimetite crystals on a single crystal of gemmy orange wulfenite!!! This specimen hosts a cluster of significantly sized crystals of mimetite - ranging in size to 9mm!!! The mimetite crystals have lustrous, sharply defined faces with somewhat bulbous divergent terminations!!! The crystals have intense orange red color that is much more red than the pictures show!!! While this locality is famous for its wulfenite crystals with mimetite association - this specimen is just the opposite, it is a mimetite with some wulfenite in association!!! While the wulfenite crystal is incomplete, it serves as a handsome matrix for what are some exceptional mimetite crystals from this classic locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
