Description/Interesting Notes:An incredible example of wardite on rose quartz from Brazil!!! This specimen consists of a complex cluster of rose quartz crystals that hosts numerous sharp crystals of wardite to over 1.25cm!!! The specimen is absolutely loaded with sharp, undamaged, square-shaped wardite crystals throughout!!! The wardite crystals have marked luster and a slight translucence as well!!! The rose quarz has rich pink color and sizeable, well defined crystals!!! There are also a few brownish colored, rounded crystal groups of zanazziite in association as well!!! This is a killer example of the species from Brazil!!! This specimen actually came out of Bob Jenkins' personal collection, though it only retains his affixed catalogue number - Bob had lived in Brazil for a period of years and had assembled a significant suite of fine Brazillian specimens!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this specimen justice!!! This specimen must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
