Vulcanite with Baryte

Mercur District, Oquirrh Mts, Tooele Co., Utah

5cm x 3.66cm x 2cm

Ex. Tony Nikischer Collection #266

Description/Interesting Notes:

A very rare example of vulcanite from Utah!!! This specimen consists of a baryite crystal covered mass that hosts several areas of massive vulcanite in association with other unidentified species!!! There are several brownish colored areas that appear to host a combination of species including small masses of vulcanite!!! Upon close inspection one can see a few darkly colored, highly complex crystals of an unidentified species present as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label as well!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY FEBRUARY 21st!!!
