Vivianite with Pyrite & Siderite Cornwall, England

Description/Interesting Notes:A rare, old time example of vivianite from Cornwall!!! This specimen likely dates back well over a century and consist of a matrix of massive and crystalline pyrite that hosts a complex, chunky crystal of darkly colored vivianite in association with numerous tiny crystals of tan siderite with an unidentified red colored mineral!!! The vivianite has marked luster and striated faces, upon close inspection on can see it is a very dark bluish green in color!!! The pyrite crystals are present as complex groups of intergrown cubes that almost resemble spikey balls!!! The siderite crystals are actually light tan in color and are quite translucent - the dark red color is the result of an unidentified red mineral in association (the red mineral is actually translucent as well)!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! I am told that this specimen is consistent is consistent with material from the vivianite type locality in Wheal Kind!!! This specimen retains an old A.E.
