Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of verplanckite from the type locality in California!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of submillimeter, reddish brown grains of verplanckite in sanbornite matrix!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see numerous well formed crystalline grains!!! Simply a fantastic example of this rare species from California!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Bob Jenkins and retains his original label and affixed catalogue number as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
