Vanadinite pseudomorph after Wulfenite

Rowley Mine, Theba, Painted Rock District, Painted Rock Mts, Maricopa Co., Arizona

3.8cm x 2.8cm x 2cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic example of vanadinite after wulfenite from the Rowley Mine!!! This specimen hosts a face covered with red to orange crystals of vanadinite punctuated by numerous wulfenite crystals that have been completely replaced by intricate lattice-works of vanadinite crystals!!! The vanadinite crystals are sharply defined and lustrous!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
