A magnificent example of this rare and sought after species from Finland!!! This specimen hosts a sharp, complete, deep emerald green
uvarovite garnet prominently perched on matrix!!! The uvarovite crystal is complete
all around with razor-sharp faces, marked clarity, and bright glassy luster!!! The
crystal exhibits intense, deep chrome emerald green color with lively flashes of intense green throughout!!! The crystal has
highly complex surface features on its faces that are quite intriguing upon close examination!!! The crystal measures an
impressive 1.15cm and is prominently exposed on the matrix - making for a very attractive and impressive example of this
rare and highly prized gem species!!! The matrix hosts a small amount of lighter green chrome diopside and pyrite, as well as
another large but incomplete crystal of uvarovite garnet!!! This is a killer example of the species and is way better than the pics show!!! Very
showy presentation and classic chrome green color!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Sal Avella
and retains its original label as well!!!
