Uraninite

Collins Hill, Portland, Middlesex Co., Connecticut

4 Specimens!

from 1cm to 1.15cm

Ex. Ward's

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic, old time collection of uraninite crystals from this classic Connecticut locale!!! This is a group of four individual specimens in an old glass riker mount with an old Ward's label!!! The crystals are all very well crystallized with sharp, complex faces and bright luster!!! The crystals all have complexly modified octahedral habits as is characteristic of the locality!!! The specimens have many complex features and modifications and they are much more complete than the pictures show!!! Each specimen is a fantastic example of the species for this classic locale!!! This is a killer - and valuable - lot of classic New England rarities!!! Don't miss out on this rare opportunity!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JANUARY 5th!!!
