Turquoise (Crystalline)

Bishop Mine, Lynch Station, James River-Roanoke River Manganese District, Campbell Co., Virginia

5cm x 2.8cm x 1.36cm

Ex. A. J. Beres Collection No. A-1584

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic, rare example of crystalline turquoise from Virginia!!! This specimen hosts an aesthetic showing of intensely colored turquoise crystals on both sides!!! What is wonderful about this specimen is that, although there are crystals on both sides - one side has a lighter colored background and the other has a much darker background - creating two distinctively different displays (the difference is much more striking in person)!!! The crystals are of fantastic quality for the species - with significant, sharp, lustrous, translucent crystals that have absolutely stunning intense turquoise color!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY September 9th!!!
