Ex. Hugh A. Ford

Description/Interesting Notes:

An absolutely superb example of this rare old time classic from New Hampshire!!! This specimen consists of a sharp, complete crystal triphylite!!! This crystal exhibits unusually fine quality for the species!!! These superb, old time triphylite crystals are extremely rare on todays market!!! For the species, this specimen has sharply defined faces and marked translucence!!! The rich blue color is caused by inclusions of vivianite!!! In person, this specimen almost resembles a rough sapphire in person!!! This magnificent New England classic retains an old Hugh A. Ford label as well!!! This specimen is complete and in fantastic condition all around!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JUNE 2nd!!!
