Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous, bicolor GEM tourmaline crystal from Afghanistan!!! This specimen consists of a pristine, gem crystal of tourmaline that exhibits striking pink and blue color!!! The crystal is complete and undamaged with bright, glassy luster and GEM clarity throughout!!! The crystal has a base of gemmy pink tourmaline that shows a sharp transition to a striking two-tone blue - sky blue followed by a rich, lively blue!!! The pictures don't even come close to capturing just how fine the color is or how lively and dynamic its internal fire and play of light is!!! This is a GEM crystal that is VERY showy in person!!! The color is WAY better than the pictures show!!! The faces are sharp and glassy and the termination consists of a somewhat velveteen pyramidal termination!!! Simply gorgeous in person!!!
