Special TUCSON SHOW 2012 Auctions!!!

***Bringing you the very finest minerals ebay has to offer!!***

Thorite

Brevik, Porsgrunn, Telemark, Norway

3cm x 2cm x 1.5cm

Ex. University of Delaware Mineralogical Museum

Description/Interesting Notes:

A classic, old time example of thorite from Norway!!! This specimen consists of a large, significant crystal of thorite!!! The crystal has some defined crystal faces and dark color!!! Upon close inspection on the reverse one can see a few tiny areas of clarity where the color can be seen to be a very dark brown with orange highlights!!! The specimen retains an affixed catalogue number from the University of Delaware Mineralogical Museum (and it should be noted that it had a scrap of paper noting that it came from George English)!!! Classic old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!

**We have just returned from the annual Gem & Mineral Show in Tucson, Arizona!!! Be sure to stay tuned as we will be listing our exciting acquisitions throughout the next coming weeks!!!***
