Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely outstanding example of native tellurium from a seldom referenced old time Colorado locality!!! This stunning old timer consists of one of the richest examples of native tellurium I have ever seen from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts an incredibly rich distribution of native tellurium both included within the quartz and as amazingly well formed crystals scattered all over the vuggy matrix!!! The specimen is cut and polished on two sides to show its extraordinary richness throughout!!! The outer surface of the specimen hosts a network of vugs that are just loaded with brilliant metallic native tellurium crystals!!! The crystals are simply amazing upon close examination - with scores of sharp, complex undamaged crystals!!! The more massive areas of the specimen appear to be comprised almost entiredly of intergrown tellurium crystals as well!!! This specimen is absolutely extraordinary in person!!! The pictures don't even come close to doing it justice!!! This specimen retains an old label from the A.E. Seaman Museum as well!!! An absolutely killer old time Colorado rarity!!!
