Tarbuttite and Skorpionite Skorpion Mine, Rosh Pinah, Luderitz District, Karas Region, Namibia 4.84cm x 3.5cm x 2.55cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An extraordinary example of tarbuttite with skorpionite from Namibia!!! This specimen consists of a dense cluster of intense, choice, deep blue-green tarbuttite crystals that host a thin layer of white hydrozincite and numerous tiny crystals of skorpionite!!! The tarbuttite has terrific clarity and it tremendously lively in person!!! The specimen is nearly solid tarbuttite!!! Tarbuttite of this color is very rare indeed, and I am told that these specimens are already long gone with no more to be found!!! This specimen has a fantastic showing of skorpionite as well, being scattered all over the specimen!!! The pics hardly do this aesthetic rarity justice!!!
