Description/Interesting Notes: PLEASE NOTE: This is a special "Holiday Listing" and will be ending on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22nd A fantastic, old time example of sylvanite from this classic locale!!! This specimen hosts several sharp crystals of sylvanite in association with tan chalcedony on a rich sylvanite matrix!!! The crystals are sharp and have lively metallic luster!!! The accompanying botryoidal chalcedony makes for an aesthetic contrast and isolates the crystals well!!! The matrix is extremely rich with small, brilliant grains of sylvanite as well!! This specimen was acquired from the A.E. Seaman Mineralogical Museum and the William Kelly collection prior to that!!! This specimen no longer retains its old labels, as it was part of a much larger single specimen, however I can provide digital copies of the labels if so desired!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
