Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of strontianite from this famed South Dakota locality!!! This specimen hosts several sprays of translucent strontianite crystals in association with sharp, tabular crystals of calcite!!! This specimen is from a small strontianite pocket found in March 1963 by Homestake geologist Duane Jorgenson!!! Specimens from this locality are rarely encountered on the market!!!
