Stilbite & Chabazite

Fútaklettur, Vagar island, Faroe Islands, Denmark

1.95" x 1.47" x .9"

4.94cm x 3.73cm x 2.29cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A terrific old time example of stilbite and chabazite from the Faroe Islands!!! This specimen hosts a sharp blade of lustrous stilbite aesthetically perched among smaller chabazite and stilbite crystals!!! Going back two hundred years, zeolites from the Faroe Islands represented the zenith for collectors of the day!!! Today, specimens from the Faroe Islands are seldom seen on the market!!! The pics hardly do this specimen justice!!! Way better in person!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
