Stilbite Dyer Quarry, Gickerville (Gibralter), Birdsboro, Berks Co., Pennsylvania 9.34cm x 6.6cm x 4.2cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of stilbite from this seldom represented Pennsylvania locality!!! This specimen hosts a significant showing of stilbite crystals on both sides!!! One side hosts an attractive, broad vug lined with juxtaposed stilbite crystals while the reverse hosts translucent mounds of tightly packed crystals!!! The crystals are in fantastic condition and the terminations have a velveteen luster!!! This specimen came from the collection of Doris Chambers and retains her label that notes the significance of the specimen for the locality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
