Stichtite on Serpentine

Stichtite Hill, Dundas, Zeehan District, Tasmania, Australia

2.66" x 2.56" x 1.28"

6.75cm x 6.51cm x 3.26cm

Ex. Belmont Abbey College

Description/Interesting Notes:

A fantastic example of stichtite on serpentine from the type locality!!! This specimen hosts a broad coverage of smooth, lustrous, rich purple stichtite on green serpentine matrix!!! The color combination is quite striking indeed!!! The green serpentine is much more intense in color than it appears in the pics!!! This colorful beauty retains its original Belmont Abbey College Collection label as well!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
