Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of gold-rich stibnite from Alaska!!! This specimen consists of a mass of compact, intergrown stibnite crystals in association with a small amount of matrix!!! While there is no eye visible gold on this specimen - this is indeed gold rich ore (upon close inspection with a good scope one can see some microscopic areas of native gold)!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains an old label with Ralph E. MacKay Collection notation!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
