Stibiconite pseudomorph after Stibnite with Calcite near Zacatecas, Mexico 12.35cm x .62cm x .5cm Ex. Albert Peppis Collection

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of stibiconite after stibnite from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a long, single crystal of stibnite that has been completely replaced by stibiconite in association with a small number of calcite crystals near the base!!! This specimen is complete and pristine!!! This specimen retains the original antique glass vial that it had been stored in for decades with a note indicating it had been obtained from a Sr. Berega!!! This specimen is from the collection of Albert Peppis that we just acquired!!! We will be posting an update about this recent acquisition later in the week via our "About Me" page so stay tuned!!!
