Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of kyanite and staurolite from Switzerland!!! This specimen hosts numerous lustrous crystals of sky blue kyanite in association with dark, lustrous crystals of staurolite!!! The main kyanite crystal has rich color and gemmy clarity and the staurolite crystal immediately next to it shows terrific reddish-brown highlights within!!! Classic material!!! This specimen has an old affixed label on the reverse!!! This specimen also retains old labels from the Sunshine Acres School (a very "unique" fully accredited private school - circa 1939, it was part of the nation's first Nudist colony), and the Wintringham Collection!!!
