Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of spodumene from Massachusetts!!! This specimen hosts several sharply formed crystals of spodumene in quartz matrix!!! The crystals range in size to over 4.5cm!!! The crystals have sharply defined faces and marked luster!!! There are two prominent crystals that show sharp terminations, characteristic of the famed spodumene crystals from Huntington found in the 19th century!!! Classic, old time material!!! This specimen retains a label from the University of Delaware Mineralogical Museum as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
