Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of spinel from California!!! This specimen hosts several razor sharp, glassy crystals of spinel in a small amount of calcite matrix!!! The spinel crystals have a very dark green color that is much more pronounced in person!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!!
