Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of sphalerite from Japan!!! This specimen consists of a grouping of large, intergrown sphalerite crystals in association with several patches of tiny calcite crystals!!! The sphalerite crystals have glassy to matte luster, lively yellow-brown color, and marked clarity in several areas!!! A very good example from an older and seldom referenced locale!!!
