Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of sphalerite from Japan!!! This specimen consists of a solid cluster of complex, darkly colored sphalerite crystals!!! The crystals have sharp, glassy faces and have some reddish brown highlights!!! This specimen retains an old label noting its rarity and is dated 1953!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
