This specimen consists of a lively orange spessartine crystal perched on an albite and orthoclase matrix!!! The spessartine crystal has rich orange color, glassy luster, and gemmy clarity!!! The crystal has a complexly modified habit!!! The area that appears to be a ding in the pictures actually has crystalline faces and etching within!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
