Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare platinum bearing species from the type locality!!! This specimen hosts a brilliant single sperrylite crystal prominently perched on a chalcopyrite-rich matrix!!! The crystal measures 2.3mm which is significant for the locality!!! The crystal is in fantastic condition and has complex, brilliantly metallic faces!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see there the crystal is much more three-dimensional than the pics show!!! This specimen retains an old, detailed label (acquisition info, date, etc. etc.) as well!!! Rare old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
