Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible, old time example of this rare platinum-bearing species from the type locale in Canada!!! This is a hand-made, antique glass vial that is filled with brilliant metallic crystals of sperrylite!!! While there appears to be some fine grains of matrix (?) in the vial as well, the majority of the material in the vial is crystalline sperrylite!!! Upon close examination one can see loads of complete sperrylite crystals exhibiting all manner of various habits!!! This specimen is from the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and retains an old label with William Kelly collection notation as well!!! Don't miss out on this rare and valuable treasure!!!
