Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare species from Nevada!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of silvery-gray sorbyite scattered about the quartz matrix!!! The sorbyite is present as minute stringers, grains, and masses both embedded within the matrix and on its surface as well!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see some tiny prismatic crystals as well!!! Rare material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer and retains its original personal collection label as well!!!
