Description/Interesting Notes: A large and impressive, old time example of smoky quartz from Switzerland!!! This specimen consists of a large single crystal of gemmy smoky quartz!!! The crystal has razor-sharp faces, glassy luster, gorgeous gemmy clarity, and rich smoky color!!! The crytal has a sharp, complete termination with some highly complex modifications!!! The crystal exhibits numerous complex features throughout with some areas dotted with impressions left behind by groups of chlorite crystals!!! There is a smaller, etched crystal in association as well!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show and is very showy in person - with gorgeous clarity and rich smoky color!!!
