Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of smithsonite and aurichalcite from this classic locality!!! This specimen hosts an impressive 1.25cm single crystal of smithsonite promintently perched atop a matrix covered with intensely colored, finely crystallized aurichalcite!!! The smithsonite crystal is a highly complex, double terminated single crystal that has glowing translucence and a characteristic lustrous, silky sheen!!! The aurichalcite has choice color that is quite striking in person and, upon close examination, can be seen to be particularly well crystallized and pristine!!! There are several smaller smithsonite crystals scattered amongst the aurichalcite as well!!! This specimen is undamaged, complete, and pristine all around!!!
