Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely gorgeous example of smithsonite with rosasite from Broken Hill!!! This specimen consists of a stunning combination of intensely colored turquoise blue rosasite in aesthetic association with complex translucent crystals of smithsonite!!! Such combinations are quite scarce from Broken Hill and this is a killer example with eye-catching beauty!!! In addition to the smithsonite and rosasite, there are a few tiny crystals of spessartine garnet scattered about the matrix!!! This specimen is from the collection of A.J. Beres!!!
