Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous example of smithsonite from this famous locality!!! This specimen consists of a matrix of bright blue aurichalcite that hosts numerous striking crystals of translucent blue green smithsonite!!! The crystals are present as both the classic "rice grain" crystals as well as larger botryoids!!! The crystals have a wonderful, lustrous velvety sheen to them as well!!! This specimen is from the collection of Ernie Schlicter and retains his original label!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
