Native Silver with Calcite Kongsburg, Buskerud, Norway 2.44cm x 1.43cm x 1.3cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of silver from Norway!!! This specimen consists of a handsome, curly tangle of native silver wires in association with a small amount of calcite matrix!!! The native silver wires have a varied, antiqued patina that ranges from dark gray to bright silver!!! Upon close inspection one can see a small amount of associated acanthite and a minor association of sphalerite and pyrite as well!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
