Native Silver with Acanthite & Galena on Siderite with Barite Ward District, Boulder Co., Colorado 4.92cm x 3.32cm x 2.9cm Ex. Alfred M. Buranek Collection (1915-1987)

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of native silver from this historic locality!!! This specimen consists of a matrix comprised of lustrous, translucent siderite crystals that hosts a rich showing of galena crystals richly intergrown with darkly colored acanthite and areas of intergrown wires of native silver!!! Upon close inspection, one can discern some of the cubo-octahedral forms of the acanthite-infiltrated galena crystals!!! There are also a few blades of barite in association as well!!!
