Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of native silver and acanthite from Canada!!! This specimen consists of a calcite vein that hosts a rich showing of complexly crystalline acanthite and scattered wires of native silver!!! The native silver wires are stout and have bright, silvery metallic luster with a handsome slightly "antiqued" patina!!! The acanthite is present as sheets of complexly crystalline material!!! Upon close inspection one can see complex networks of crystalline features throughout!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
