Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of native silver from this historic locale!!! This specimen consists of a sulphide rich matrix comprised of pyrite, galena, and sphalerite that hosts a significant showing of massive stephanite and acanthite as well as several scattered areas of native silver!!! Upon close inspection, one can see tiny areas of bright, tin white native silver scattered in different areas around the specimen!!! This is old material that came from Forrest Cureton!!! Nevada is known as "The Silver State" due to its rich silver-mining history and it all began in this famous district!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
