Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of native silver from Colorado!!! This specimen hosts a broad face of complex calcite crystals intergrown with areas of native silver micro-wires and a prominent tangle of thin native silver wires in a shallow vug!!! Upon close inspection, one can see that the darkly colored areas are comprised of tiny silver wires and sooty black acanthite!!! The elongated silver wire shows areas of marked silvery luster!!! The calcite crystals are in fantastic condition with sharply defined terminations and marked translucence!!! Classic, old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
