Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of native silver from Broken Hill!!! This specimen consists of a dense cluster of well formed crystals of native silver!!! The crystals exhibit both somewhat blocky crystals that have brilliantly metallic, tin-white luster followed by additional growths of more darkly colored dendritic crystals - possibly accented by microcrystals of acanthite!!! Curiously, upon close inspection, there appear to be tiny sub-millimeter garnet crystals tucked in random crevices!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this classic beauty justice!!!
