Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of native silver from Kongsberg!!! This specimen consists of a thick rope-like wire of native silver!!! The native silver has a handsome "antique" patina that ranges in color from smokey gray-black to brassy-golden to tin white with some slightly iridescent accents!!! The wire is thick and chunky and displays quite handsomely in person!!! There is a tiny calcite rhomb tucked in a small recess as well!!! The wire is topped with a small, graceful curl - a classic Kongsberg silver indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Old material!!!
