Native Silver with Cerussite Aspen, Aspen District, Pitkin Co., Colorado 1.5cm x 1.1cm x .9cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of native silver from this historic locale!!! This specimen consists of a pair of thick, stout wires of native silver with a couple minute crystals of cerussite in association!!! The thick wires appear to rapidly graduate into tangles of much thinner wires at the top!!! The silver has a brilliant metallic luster with a gorgeous slightly golden patina!!! Upon close inspection one can see a tiny, twinned cerussite crystal perched near the base of one of the thick wires and one can see a few others scattered about the chunky areas of native silver on the underside!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show!!! OLD material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
