Dioptase on Shattuckite & Malachite after Shattuckite Kaokoveld Plateau, Kunene Region, Namibia 3.2cm x 2cm x 1.6cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and aesthetic example of dioptase, shattuckite and malachite from Namibia!!! This speimen consists of a striking shattuckite epimorph that hosts a group or pristine, jewel-like crystals of dioptase and an area that has been replaced by lively green malachite!!! This specimen is WAY better than the pics show - it is a particularly showy and aesthetic combo and displays stunningly in person!!! The shattuckite is present as a botryoidal epimorph of an unidentified species - the underlying angular forms and overall three-dimensional nature are much more pronounced in person!!! The shattuckite has gorgeous blue color and a rich velvety appearance!!! There is an area of the shattuckite that has been replaced by malachite that has a uniquely crystallized appearance (this is actual pseudomorphism, not a simple malachite overgrowth!)!!! The dioptase crystals are razor-sharp, brilliantly glassy, gemmy, and have gorgeous intense emerald green color!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition and displays gorgeously in person!!!
