Serpentine pseudomorph after Forsterite Maxwell quarry, Chelsea, Outaouais, Quebec, Canada 4.55cm x 3.5cm x 1.8cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of serpentine after forsterite from Canada!!! This specimen hosts a sharp, prominent crystal of forsterite (the green gem variety of which is peridot) that has been completely pseudomorphed into serpentine!!! The crystal has sharp faces and handsome, light yellow green color!!! The crystal is complete and mesures over 1.5cm!!! There are also several other areas around the specimen that host areas of serpentine after forsterite as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
